Celebrating 50 Years of Special Olympics Washington

Since 1975, Special Olympics Washington has been a champion for inclusion, empowering children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through the power of sports. For 50 years, we have fostered joy, confidence, and belonging for thousands of athletes while championing a world where inclusion is not just an idea—it’s a movement. Thank you for the past 50 years. 50 years of inclusion. 50 years of impact. And most importantly, thank you for championing the next 50.
